Health & Safety Program

As we are a services company, health and safety is naturally at the centre of our preoccupation. We have developed a Safety Management system that adapts to our large scope activities and it particularly to our technical management activities that may present some specific risk for our personnel.

When starting a new project, our safety engineers perform a risk assessment and compile all risks related to the installations or to the services that we have to provide. For each and every risk, a likelihood factor and a severity factor are assigned. If the product of these factors is higher than a specific level, mitigations measures must be defined, such as training personnel, improving installations, providing personnel protective equipment, etc. After this mitigation measures have been identified, a new risk assessment is performed. If the risk level is still higher than predefined limits, new mitigation measures will be put in place until the risk level become acceptable.

Training personnel is then of most importance. Safety Management Manual and relevant training will be provided to all new employees and to employees that will occupy a new function. Refreshment trainings are provided on regular basis. Additionally, “Toolbox meetings
